Keep us informed Bob. I think DOG still has some good VZ24 barrels if you want to replace the counterbores. I have had some of the counterbores that shot surprizingly well in the past.

For that screw with the two small holes in it try a pair of snap ring pliers that have an angle to them. Should work as long as it isnt too tight.
